Integrated Priority Reports
Prior to the formal development of the LHINs, the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care held 14 Local Health Integration Network community workshops across the province in November and December of 2004. Approximately 4,000 people attended these workshops where they were asked to identify the health service integration priorities they felt were most important for their particular LHIN.
From those priorities, participants were asked to vote on the top 10 integration priorities in patient care and administrative/support services for their particular LHIN. In central west Ontario, the Central West Local Health Integration Network Steering Committee prepared a summary report based on the top 10 priorities identified as being important to address in this region.
This Integrated Priority Report was made available to the board and CEO of the Central West LHIN as the foundation for our planning work.
