What is an Integrated Health Service Plan?
In late 2006 the Central West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) developed an Integrated Health Service Plan (IHSP). This document was the blueprint for the local health system and outlined the needs of the communities we serve as well as identified the local health care priorities and strategies for improvement.
Hundreds of volunteers, community residents and health care professionals across the Central West LHIN provided invaluable contributions to the development of the initial plan.
In 2009 we went through the process again to develop our second Integrated Health Service Plan for the years 2010 - 2013. Our second IHSP is focused on measurable results in the ongoing development of local health care services.
