Integrated Health Service Plan 2010 - 2013
Working to ensure the local health system is meeting your needs means keeping you up-to-date on how we are developing that system and connecting with you to make sure your ideas and concerns are being heard. It was with this in mind that the Central West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) began the process of engaging with you in the development of our second Integrated Health Service Plan (IHSP) for the years 2010 - 2013. Our second IHSP is focused on measurable results in the ongoing development of local health care services. Where as the first plan provided a high level strategy to improving local health care, the second plan provides concrete plans and actions to continue our progress along that strategy. We would like to thank eveyone who participated in our community events for your input and support.
Our second IHSP is grounded in the goals and priorities identified in our Health System Plan. This 10 year strategic plan provides a vision and roadmap for the development of a coordinated health care system across the entire Central West LHIN. The Health System Plan took the priorities you helped us set in our first IHSP and really set them in motion with specific actions for the development of local health care services. In using this plan as the strong base with which to build our second IHSP, we have continued along the path we initially set out on together and have maintain a focus on what you told us your health care priorities are. By working together as a community we are growing a health care system that helps people stay healthy, delivers good care when they need it, and will be there for their children and grandchildren.
The Central West LHIN's second Integrated Health Service Plan sets the direction for that growth over the next three years, and we are excited to share it with you.
