Diversity and Health Equity

Promoting the local health system’s responsiveness to cultural diversity is one of the overarching priorities identified in Central West LHIN’s Integrated Health Service Plan (IHSP).

We have been working diligently to connect to the many ethno-cultural organizations within the Central West LHIN that reflect / represent the LHIN’s diverse communities. This work is headed up the Diversity Core Action Group which is made up of Central West LHIN representatives and Health Service Providers who are actively engaged in diverse communities acorss the LHIN.
