The Central West LHIN is one of the most ethno-culturally diverse regions in the province.

On Thursday, November 8th, 2007, we will examine our experiences and the opportunities to enhance community engagement with our diverse communities in the effort to build equity of access to quality health services.

This day will focus on the priority identified in the Central West LHIN’s Integrated Health Service Plan to improve the local health system’s “responsiveness to cultural diversity”.

It will profile local initiatives by several health service providers and provide a platform on how we can work collaboratively to build “best practice” culturally competent health services that meet the diverse needs of our growing and changing population.

The day will be a mix of presentations and break out sessions. We hope you will join us.
